Shaun Bridgeman and the staff at Fernside Recovery have received an award from Dorset's Deputy Fire Chief in recognition of over 5 years support of the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service Community Safety Events. Fernside staff give up their spare time to transport vehicles to community safety events to promote the Fire and Rescure Services and help train crews.
Deputy Fire Chief, Nigel Williams says "Shaun and his company are great. He does a lot of work to help bring down road deaths in this county. He is not the sort of man to make a big thing about what he does, but he deserves this award."
Fire and Rescue Service Community Safety Specialist, Simon Hart says "[Shaun's] work is invaluable. Without him we would simply not be able to get to those hard to reach groups, particularly young drivers. He gives up his time, free of charge to help with our safety work." |
